As a successful management consultant, author, speaker, and trainer, Charlie has a storehouse of expertise in assisting government and corporate leaders work through the obstacles that often block change and growth. His communication skills, both verbal and written, have garnered a reputation of expertise in group dynamics and resolving large-scale organizational conflict to create an environment of collaboration.
Charlie has invested the past twenty-five years in assisting clients in the areas of Conflict Resolution, Community Collaboration, Leadership Development, Strategic Planning, and Team Building. Clients that rely on Charlie’s expertise include: Abonmarche, Bloomfield Hills School District, City of Chicago Department of Water Management, City of Farmington, City of Kalamazoo, City of Romulus, City of Westland, Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, Ford Motor Company, Michigan Technological University, Next Link, OHM Advisors, Canton Township, Redford Township, and Wayne County Department of Environment.
One of Charlie’s greatest passions is writing. He honed his skills at Michigan State University where he received a BA in English with High Honors. In 2005, Charlie published his first book, The Search for Unrational Leadership, and has since broadly implemented the concepts of Unrational Leadership™ in projects that Project Innovations has undertaken with business and government clients. He has contributed his viewpoint and expertise in various business publications, including: The New York Times, Business Week, HR Magazine, Crain’s Detroit Business, and Entrepreneur.com.
As a management consultant, speaker and coach, Teresa supports Project Innovations’ clients in developing customer outreach programs, creating strong collaborative work environments, coaching individuals to support organizational goals, and resolving conflict in public and private organizations. Her technical knowledge and the ability to create and maintain relationships at all organization levels are key factors in Teresa’s successful client engagements.
Teresa’s passion lies in helping people identify their personal strengths and areas for growth to achieve success in their professional lives. Her interest in Human Resource Management was piqued at Walsh College where she earned a degree in Business Management with emphasis in Human Resource Management. She has broadened her skills in personality development through extensive training and use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Type and has been a contributing author to the Associations’ Bulletin of Psychological Type. Other affiliations include American Water Works Association and Michigan Business and Professional Association.
Teresa is the project manager for the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department Wholesale Customer Outreach Project. Other clients have included: ACBB-BITS, City of Chicago Department of Water Management, City of Farmington Hills, SOCRRA, SOCWA, Spalding DeDecker, and Wade Trim.
As the glue that holds the Project Innovations’ offices together, Kathy assists our staff and clients in developing presentations, documents, and scheduling complex meetings. She manages the back office seamlessly so that our consultants and facilitators can remain focused on meeting our client’s needs and managing client projects successfully.
